Kipp's One-Sheet 
Michael F. Kipp is an accomplished Chief Executive Officer
and management advisor with impressive achievements in start
up and turnaround situations. As a speaker and consultant,
his focus is in the areas of leadership, strategy and business
innovation. Over the last several years he has helped clients
from a variety of operating environments, both domestically
and internationally, get focused and get results.
Mike
began his career as a planning director with the American
foundation for Management Research, facilitating strategy
sessions for corporate and public sector clients. He served
as county, then state deputy commissioner in New York under
Governor Hugh Carey. Following subsequent marketing roles
with Hospital Corporation of America and the Presidency
of a managed care company, sold in the early 90's, he's
been a principal in four start-up ventures
one in mortgage
lending, the second in ambulatory care, the third an internet-based
art gallery and the fourth a consultancy in strategic leadership.
A member
of the National Speaker's Association, the Organization
Development Network and the Strategic Leadership Forum,
Mike presents frequently at business and professional retreats,
and on the platform for AMA's Management Course for President's.
He has keynoted meetings for TEC, YPO and a number of industry-specific
associations.
Mike
was a contributing editor of McGraw Hill's 1997 Handbook
of Management Consulting Services. He has also published
"Seven Lessons in Strategy", "The Accidental
Leader" and a variety of white papers on organizational
effectiveness and personal mastery.
He is
a graduate of St. Anselm's College where he was a champion
intercollegiate debater, holds a Master's from Syracuse
University and is a product of the Columbia University Advanced
Program in Organization Development.
