MIKE KIPP

Michael F. Kipp is an author, consultant and experienced Chief Executive Officer with impressive achievements in start-up and turnaround situations. As a speaker and facilitator, his strengths are in the areas of strategy, leadership development and the cultivation of business-to-business partnerships. Over the last several years, he has worked with numerous clients throughout the United States and in Canada, Mexico, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom.

While President of Signature, a venture capitalized specialty insurer, he took his firm from a "greenfield" operation to #2 in market share, subsequently negotiating its sale to a larger carrier. Directing marketing for Hospital Corporation of America, he initiated the first segmentation strategy, along with attendant promotional programs and customer tracking systems. As Deputy Commissioner for New York State he oversaw the deployment of programs to strengthen home rule against powerful opposition, serving as spokesperson to all constituency groups and managing decision support systems such as budget, research and information technology. Since then, he has focused on helping companies "define and secure their preferred future". He is also a principal in allianceart.com, an Internet start-up.
